Felix Flores Named Manager of Wheaten Point Farms Wheaten Point Farms in White Stone, Virginia, recently named Felix Flores manager of their facilities. In addition to his managerial duties, Mr. Flores will remain as head trainer. Originally from Peru, master trainer Flores brings to any horse training situation a rich background of experience in most forms of equitation. Due to his natural ability with horses, Mr. Flores began his early apprenticeship in Peru by preparing horses for presentation and competition. He served as an apprentice under nationally and internationally acclaimed Peruvian Paso Horse Breeders. Since coming to the United States thirteen years ago he has won innumerable regional and national awards. Flores has over twenty five years experience managing, training and showing a variety of horses, specializing in the Peruvian Paso Horse. “We are very proud of Felix, not only for his training abilities and awards, but at the beginning of next year, he will become a United States Citizen,” said Wheaten Point Farms owner Rhonda Lawrence.
Wheaten Point Farms Exhibites At Virginia |Equine ExtravaganzaWheaten Point Peruvian Farms were among the different breed farms who participated in the Virginia Equine Extravaganza. Each breed presented a script, along with music, which described the breed, it’s disposition and style and it’s variety of uses within the horse world. The breed demo reflected the grandeur and character of the breed that was being presented.
